   The United States known as the land of equality and freedom, but is it true? In the early United States, the rights between of women and men are unequal. Men can participate in politics, can enjoy their right to vote, but women can’t. Women just stay at home cooking and laundry for her husband, education of their son. Even, women not allow receive higher education. The first women's movement was broke out at the United States in 1848. They want justice for their rights. At this point, the relationship between men and women become very complicated. They all have their opinions .The final victory is still belong women. Since then, women have power, they can vote. The success of the women's movement is it for women's life opens a new era and give the United States made a historic contribution for equality. Alice Paul is a activists person in this movement. She even if imprisonment doesn’t feel unworthy to fight for women right. After her release from prison also insisted the cause. She’s efforts eventually by the end of the 19th amendment issued. From these women, we are obviously know that the importance of equality for them and equal access a great power to women to fright. Now, although there is a degree in politics, women's status, but the absolute equality of men and women still can’t be achieved.

U.S. history of immigration

       In the U.S. history, immigrant plays a very important role. Except the Native American, all of people are immigrants or their descendant in this country. Form the 1700s to the 1900s, there still have many people move to America yearly. Many immigrants think America like a dream place that there have more opportunity and money. New York is very popular for immigrants at that time. The immigrants not just come from Great Britain, but also from other countries like Italian and Russian. The immigrants come to a new place is hard for them, especially the cultural shock. They have to learn a new language. In order to make a living in this strange land they are doing the most on hard work. Sometimes because of racial differences, they have been prejudice against. However they do not want to leave this new land. They hope that through their own hands to bring for their families and themselves a better life. These hard-working immigrants, in the same time satisfy their desire to push the U.S. economy. As we all know labor is an important factor in economic development. So many immigrants came to the United States that brought huge momentum for domestic industry. For a country, industry is the lifeblood. Now, in the U.S. the challenge of immigrants also the language problem, because there have more new immigrants came. Thought the immigrant, we can know how hard them life and how strong their perseverance and determination to pursuit of the perfect life. 

 "Despite anti-immigration laws that limited the amount of people admitted into the U.S., the idea of America as a "Melting Pot", or more recently a "Salad Bowl", is one of the more unique occurrences in the world to that point in time. America became multinational and had different ethnic groups that generally were successful in assimilated to American culture"
